Rakshabandhan is a Celebration of the bonding between a Brother and a Sister. This relationship highlighted by this Festival goes beyond the mere personal protection of a Female from a Male. It also implies the basic element of an amicable and harmonious social life where all members of the society look upon themselves as children of one common planet “Mother Earth” and hence develop a sense of love and affection among themselves. By tying a 'Raksha' to all, irrespective of the gender, color, creed or nationality, one affirms their loyalty and devotion to the society of which they are the children. Their commitment to protect each other and also the society as a whole, is emphasized through this simple ceremony.
Inspired by the ancient Sanskrit quote - 'VASUDAIVA KUTUMBAKAM', meaning the whole world is one family, this year, the ‘Rakshas’ were sent to the Polizei, Radio SH, Recycling Hof, Supermarket (Rewe, Famila), Post Office, Hospital etc.,
To thank all the brave Personnel who are helping us during this Pandemic Situation along with a Special Video and a Personalized message prepared by the Kids of Balagokulam, to show their Gratitude to all these Warriors. Below is the link for the same.
The Rakshas were received very happily by all the above mentioned people and it was overwhelming to see their reactions. You can find the pictures and videos of their responses below.
